The meeting place here for over 55s seems cool so they can talk a lot about problems in Ballyfermot and what it means and to get other peoples opinions.

The reason for the lack of people on this over 55 forum is because we only 5 main forum users ,which is a real shame.

My 5 close friends and I are all over 60 and we all enjoy our PCs so we're not over the PC hill yet. we can keep in touch and share photos with email and get 300 free text on line to everyone from Vodaphone. so don't count us out yet Ha!! Ha!!

yes i was very much afraid in the beginnig but when i had to get stuff printed in our local commuinity centre this ?????? who was always in trouble with the law printed it out for me and i thought to myself if he can do it so can I. Then i paid thousands for a website that i was unable to update myself, so i did a web design course and after spending hours and hours on the computer I did my own. So no matter what education or age you are If you realy want to learn something you will learn it.

It's not the doing that matters it's the bloody piece of paper, for work, but if you have an interest and can learn and build on the knowledge then the doing matters alot more than the piece of paper!

In 1995 I did a basic course before I got my computer it was a waste of time as I had nothing to work on and then I did not know how to type.
Most of what I learnt was by spending hours opening each help page and struggling with everything I needed to learn.
However I wanted that piece of paper so in 2005 I did my ECDL and i would recommend everyone to do at least one coursePosted 1 year ago # -
Watch what music you add on the Videos you upload to the net. this was just a video of 200 family photos I added music to, to let our family in America see what were were up too.
Where can i buy music to add to my videos that won't cause trouble.I recived this email from Facebook
We have removed your video entitled (no title) uploaded at 12:42am December 18th, 2008. We did this because we learned that your video might include copyrighted material owned by a third party, such as a video clip or background audio.

This sounds like facebook cracking down on possible copyright infringment regardless of your music and a general broadcast message too, what you'll have to do is to ask facebook what is acceptable music to use, ripped from a cd using windows, downloaded from itunes or something else? Their just watching their back for legal reasons and they may not be allowing any music at the moment. Email them.

Your going to have to ask them what their policies are on this issue, don't forget that they own your account and all of the information on it and they can change the rules whenever they please. And there is nothing anybody can do about it except stop using their free service.

Thanks but I don't use it much as almost all of the family are on Bebo its only the few in America that only use Facebook
But if Bebo do the same I'll be in the slammer as I have put up about 30 photo videos on it with the same music and everyone has copied them onto their Bebo sites do you think i should take them downPosted 1 year ago # -

I believe ya Kay. This copyright thing is happening everywhere now. Movie link websites and all are just disappearing as well as music websites.

Do you know where i can buy music to add to my videos that is not copyright as I have thousands of new and old family photos I put on video and then upload them up onto the family Bebo site
