    The leaving cert in schools seem very important to people.Its results determine what your capable of and what your not which seems to put pressure on many people i wouldnt blame them.

    Yes Nathan, but only as far as what course choices in college or university you may choose and pressure is a part of all walks of life, how you handle it means something, but none of it can show what you are truely capable of or what you are made of.

    i am doing my leaving cert i am currently doing 4 hours study a night nd homework its ridiculous all it is is a piece of paper that decides our lives i think it is riddiculous

    Same for junior cert with the after study some of us do night study and football training and clubs after school and it ends up being 10 o clock for some people.

    Hey you guys, put it this way, its an institution that, if your lucky enough to make it through with a piece of paper to say that you've served your time ,and you are more than a result because as you know some systems are suitable for some people but not the rest of us. Its not for the free thinkers or the people with family problems and you could have both of these things thrust upon you.
